Creative Action

Our Creative Action course is designed to support people who want to make a difference in their community through taking action to improve something they care about.

You'll be supported through a series of nine workshops and coaching sessions, enabling you to reflect on the challenge you wish to address and take steps to developing a project, access funding and deliver your solution.

All too often strategies and solutions are developed and imposed by organisations so when solutions are developed by the communities themselves, the results can be amazing.

You can expect to learn about project and budget management as well as transferable team working skills. We can build a creative team around you and your commitments to help you get your project up and running.

For people wanting to find a way to build on their experience with Creative Action and keep their project going, additional business development advice is available to support the project to become self-sustainable. Our aim is to provide pathways to self-employment, social enterprise or employment in other community focused organisations.

Courses will be starting again as soon as it’s safe to do so. Please check our social media pages for updates. For any further information please email info@rhwe.org or call 0191 226 7300.

“I never thought I’d be doing anything like this, all the confidence I gained from STEPS then doing other courses and now we’re doing a social action project. It’s going to make such an amazing difference to the community.”
