Through workshops, courses and coaching you can discover what you're good at and try out new things. You can get a taste of different jobs and businesses so that your next steps really are your own choice and you can take them with a new-found confidence and experience. 

The Explore activities support those who consider themselves far away from the life they want to take steps towards feeling confident, resilient and ready for work.
Whether you need to build your confidence, explore different career options or take practical steps to get into work, we have the tools and the right people to support you on your journey.   

Our activities are delivered at various locations through a combination of experience-based learning, workshops, 1:2:1 coaching, and peer mentoring. They all run flexibly to fit round your life.

Our Explore activities aim to: 

• Develop your confidence to take action towards becoming economically independent 
• Increase personal capacity, aspiration and motivation through goal setting and tracking achievement 
• Develop skills and aptitudes, empowering you and highlighting the wider impact on family and community networks 
• Reduce barriers to career exploration and future employment with positive reinforcement and easy to understand advice that doesn’t feel scary and daunting 
• Change perceptions of what skills, experience and knowledge you already have 
• Change perceptions and increase knowledge of what opportunities are available to you
• Develop a sense of direction by identifying your future career/job-based goal.
