Routes to work

Routes to Work is our programme supporting people into work. Explore Work focuses on re-discovering skills, understanding sectors and the jobs market; Next Steps to Work builds confidence to apply, looking at CVs, personal statements, and jobs platforms; A Day in the Life is our employer led workshops where RHWE partners with local employers taking participants into the heart of a business. They benefit from talks, tours, insights into the hiring process and face to face discussions with staff and HR to understand what the employer is looking for. This unique model showcases available roles in different sectors and this deeper support enables participants to put their learning into improving job applications and CVs. Employers we have worked with include University of Newcastle, Pink Boutique, St Cuthbert’s Care, Keepmoat Construction and Tesco.
