Have you ever listened to that voice in your head? No, I mean really listened. Is it positive? Would you speak to your friends in that way?
“I can’t believe I just did that... I always get it wrong... I can’t do this.” Do you think this voice is helping you or holding you back? STEPs provides the opportunity to explore how our thoughts are developed and how they subconsciously affect our behaviours and ultimately our day-to-day lives.
You'll learn practical tools and strategies to recognise when your self-talk is holding you back and how to turn it into a force for good.
This is not counselling or group therapy. It's a practical, science-driven programme that will enable you to understand how your brain functions and the real power and choice you have in relation to your thoughts, feelings and actions.
Our STEPs workshops and 1-2-1 coaching offer personal resilience strategies based on positive behavioural psychology. Participants foster the motivation and self-belief to break down barriers holding them back from achieving their full potential.
These seven half-day workshops are supported by peer mentors (former STEPs participants) offering inspiration, insight and encouragement.
Workshops will be starting again as soon as it’s safe to do so. Please check our social media pages for updates. For any further information please email info@rhwe.org or call 0191 226 7300.
“I feel so much more knowledgeable about the role. I feel ready to do this and am looking forward to the future and courses starting.”
